Oct 14, 2020 Warrick County breaks ground on 100,000 sq. ft shell building.

For Immediate Release: Elberfeld, IN – The Warrick County Redevelopment Commission, Success Warrick County and Woodward Commercial Realty announced today the construction of a 100,000 sq. ft. shell building in the North Warrick Industrial Park. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 14th at 11:30 am.

The North Warrick Industrial Park, near Elberfeld, is already home to North American Lighting and Pepsi. Located at the junction of I-69 and I-64, the Industrial Park provides an ideal location for companies to grow and thrive in Warrick County.

“This is a very exciting project for Warrick County. The North Warrick Industrial Park (NWIP) is OPEN FOR BUSINESS with available land, onsite utilities, and now a customizable shell building” said Steve Roelle, Executive Director for Warrick County Economic Development. “An industrial shell building allows us to responds to companies and projects looking to land in Southwest Indiana immediately as we work to bring projects, investment and quality jobs to our community.”

Once completed, the new shell building will be ready to welcome a company looking for a pre-built facility to begin operations quickly. The surrounding lots also provide space for a future tenant to expand their operations and customize the facility to their needs.

“The industrial segment of the real estate market currently has demands for existing high-quality properties easily customized to specific needs and uses. The demands are to deliver a finished product in a much shorter timeline than developing a property from scratch to meet the ever-changing global business climate,” said Evan Beck, the President and Managing Broker for Woodward Commercial Realty. “By partnering with Success Warrick County, this 100,000 sq. ft. Shell Building puts Warrick County in a more competitive position to respond to industrial prospects, who offer tremendous opportunities for quality job growth, innovation and tax base expansion.”

This shell building is part of a current expansion of business at the North Warrick Industrial Park that will bring jobs to Northern Warrick County and Indiana’s Great Southwest. It will allow businesses to utilize the logistical benefits of the I-69 corridor.
